Secret City. The Lipetsk Luftwaffe Fighter-Pilot School in the USSR story book devoted to the activities of the Lipetsk aviation center in the 20-30-ies of the XX century. The Central theme of this unique and very rich illustrated study is the history and activities of the secret German school of military pilots. At the same time it tells of the early stages of formation in Lipeck so-called "the Small Academy of the Russian air force" - Lipetsk aviation center named after V. Chkalov. The monograph also provides a General picture of the life of a provincial Russian city in the pre world war two period.
The Appendix contains information about the German aircraft and the pilots who flew in the sky above the Lipetsk in the years 1925-1933.
