In the 1960-1970s several SPGs of various purposes were created in Soviet Union. Most of them, by a strange whim of the military customers and developers, got the names of the flowers. The core of this flower garden were 2S3 Akatsiya (Acacia), 2S4 Tyulpan (Tulip) and 2S5 Giatsint (Hyacinth).
